We are starting a Pure Mathematics Colloquium, to meet 5 times a year: twice in Michaelmas, twice in Lent, and the 5th meeting being the Mordell lecture (usually Easter, but this year in the vacation between Lent and Easter). The pure mathematics colloquiua are followed by a brief Reception in Central Core. The hope is that this will be another occasion for people from different research groups to come together and interact. The colloquiua will provisionally meet on Mondays at 4.00 p.m. in the 3rd and 6th weeks of term. The first talks are Feb 4th, Feb 25th (and Mar 16th for Mordell):
