The University of Cambridge Faculty of Education has one of the largest groups of science, technology and mathematics education researchers in Britain, with over 20 staff members active in research and a similar number of doctoral students.

The group’s core areas of interest and expertise are in the teaching and learning of mathematics and science at primary and secondary school levels, and the professional education and training of teachers working at these levels. There is also considerable interest and expertise in the use and integration of digital technologies in these and other subject areas.

The group holds regular seminars related to its key themes of Science Education, Technology & Education, and Mathematics Education.
