In each SciScreen session, a scientist or engineer explains the science from the film in a short talk before the film.

Speaker: Dr Matt Wilkinson is a zoologist, science writer and speaker, with a special interest in pterodactyl flight. His first book, Restless Creatures – about how the need to move has driven the evolution of life, is available now in bookshops and online.

Talk: The dinosaurs are extinct, but research into how they lived and died has never been livelier! Matt will show how recent discoveries have transformed our ideas about the stars of the Jurassic Park/World films. You’ll never look at T. rex in the same way again!

Tickets for the 6pm SciScreen on 6 June can be purchased from the Arts Picturehouse: https://www.picturehouses.com/cinema/Arts_Picturehouse_Cambridge/film/jurassic-world-fallen-kingdom-2d
