If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jack Thorne. Each regular algebraic, conjugate self-dual, cuspidal automorphic representation of GL(n) over a CM number field has an associated continuous l-adic Galois representation. In this talk, I’ll explain how to construct congruences between the direct sum of two such Galois representations and some Galois representation associated to a cuspidal automorphic representation of GL(2n). The construction is conditional on the endoscopic classification of automorphic representations of inner forms of unitary groups, announced by Kaletha, Minguez, Shin and White. This talk is part of the Number Theory Seminar series. ## This talk is included in these lists:- All CMS events
