In the context of integrable quantum many-body systems, much progress has been achieved in <br> deriving and analysing the infinite set of coupled local conservation laws constituting <br> "generalized hydrodynamics". In my presentation I will outline the scheme for the <br> classical Toda chain exploring unexpected connections to random matrix theory.<br> <br>
