We are delighted to announce that Darren Henley, CEO of Arts Council England will be giving a talk at Cambridge Judge Business School.

Arts Council England is a government funded body that invests in artistic and cultural experiences for the public. Between 2018-2022 they will invest £1.45 billion of public money from government and an estimated £860 million from the National Lottery to help support these activities.

Darren will be sharing his thoughts on the importance of creativity in today’s society followed by a Q&A.

About Darren: Darren Henley OBE is the CEO of Arts Council England and author of two independent government reviews into music and cultural education. Before joining Arts Council England, Darren led Classic FM for 15 years.

About Arts Council England: Arts Council England champions, develops and invests in artistic and cultural experiences that enrich people’s lives. They support activities across the arts, museums and libraries – from theatre to digital art, reading to dance, music to literature, and crafts to collections.

Between 2018 and 2022, they will invest £1.45 billion of public money from government and an estimated £860 million from the National Lottery into organisations such as the National Theatre, Boiler Room, British Museum and the Royal Opera House to help create these experiences for as many people as possible across the country.
