This panel features two speakers. Mr. Roman Webber (Deliotte), who will focus on corporate policy, and Professor Paul Ekins (Green Fiscal Commission) who will address public policy. The following aspects will be covered:
  • Credibility of climate change policy (governmental level)
  • Incentives for reducing carbon footprint at national level
  • Emission trading schemes
  • Carbon taxes / the costs of environmental regulation (governmental level)
  • Sustainability reporting – burden or opportunities? (corporate level)
  • Carbon footprint reduction strategy and policy (corporate level)
  • Green fiscal commission and the UK energy 2050 project
