Tell us about your research, but with a twist!

Calling ALL graduate students interested in talking about your research. This is not your typical symposium style presentation! ‘PechaKucha is a storytelling format where a presenter shows 20 slides for 20 seconds of commentary each. At a PechaKucha Night, individuals gather at a venue to share personal presentations about their work.’

In our own rendition of a PechaKucha Night, SciSoc will be changing the rules up a bit, allowing only 15 slides and a 5 minute speaking time, with no limit on how long each slide’s commentary can be, although you are welcome to stick to 20 seconds per slide if you wish to! If you think you are up for the challenge, come join us for a night of quickfire presentations to test your skills at keeping it short and sweet!

Due to time constraints, we will unfortunately have to limit the number of presenters, so do sign up early! We welcome ALL students to come join in the audience to watch the presentations too! (Link will be posted closer to the event date)
