Come and meet Tobias Hill who will be launching The Hidden, an extraordinary novel steeped in myth and mystery. Set against the parched and burning landscape of Southern Greece, this is a tense, dark and highly charged tale of ancient secrets, modern conflict and what it costs to belong.

Tobias Hill was born in London and has published 4 poetry collections, 3 novels and a collection of short stories. In 2003 the TLS nominated him as one the best young writers in Britain: in 2004 he was selected as one of the country’s Next Generation poets and shortlisted for the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year. His collection of stories, Skin, won the Pen-Macmillan Prize for Fiction and was shortlisted for the John Llewellyn Rhys/Mail on Sunday Prize. His other novels are The Cryptographer, Underground and The Love of Stones.

FREE tickets can be obtained from the Ground Floor Cash Desk or by contacting Richard Reynolds on 01223-568532 or by emailing him at literature@heffers.co.uk
