If you have a question about this talk, please contact Macarena Arenas. This talk has been canceled/deleted We will give a short introduction on the theory of quadratic differentials over Riemann surfaces and discuss how this relates to the non-Abelianization problem. If we have time left, we will discuss how Non-abelianization relates to other parts of mathematics and physics, namely Floer theory. This talk is part of the Junior Geometry Seminar series.
