"The Role of the EU in Global Health"

Global Health Europe provides a platform for discussion of global health governance issues. It is supported by the Swiss Government, the UK DH and the European Foundation Centre and led by Professor Ilona Kickbusch.

Professor Graham Lister is currently leading three on-line discussions for GHE , responding to the EC issues paper “The Role of the EU in Global Health”, open questions raised by Zsuzsanna Jakab the new WHO Regional Director for Europe on the role of WHO Euro, and questions raised by the Geneva Health Forum about EU roles in responding to health crises. Graham led the first UK programme on Global Health for the Nuffield Trust in 1998, was one of a group of experts asked to advise on the future role of WHO Euro in 2005 and co authored “European Perspectives on Global Health” with Ilona Kickbusch in 2007 and has helped to establish GHE .

Professor Lister is also a Fellow of Judge Business School and teaches on their Global Health Leadership course
