It’s been known for some time that there exist modular forms of half-integral weight on the group SU(2,1). However no example of such a form has ever been written down. There seem to be no easy constructions such as theta series. If one had a half-integral weight multiplier system, then one could generate these modular forms by Eisenstein series. The aim of the talk is to describe a half-integral weight multiplier system on this group.
