The aim of the project is to investigate the potential of Spectral emissivity and Thermal remote sensing data, integrated with field and airborne spectral reflectance data and quantitative XRD analyses, to resolve epithermal gold mineralisation. The potential of field portable FTI Rs and airborne multi-temporal, multi-spectral thermal data in resolving a range of alteration categories, minerals and unaltered volcanic rocks will be reviewed.
