I will discuss recent developments in three-dimensional superconformal field theories based on the use of localization techniques. Special emphasis will be given to a particular example of three-dimensional Seiberg-like duality and the proposal of a new non-perturbative constraint on spontaneous supersymmetry breaking based on matrix models.
