Inspired by Charles Babbage’s legacy, the Babbage Seminar Series gathers leading figures as well as young researchers from economics, engineering and operation management with an interest in manufacturing and industrial policy.

In this Babbage Seminar, we are pleased to welcome Professor Philip Shapira, Professor of Innovation Management and Policy with the Manchester Institute for Innovation Research at Manchester Business School and also Professor of Public Policy at Georgia Institute of Technology who will discuss 21st Century Manufacturing: Innovation Strategies and the Role of Technology Extension.
