Winton Scholar Tobias Wenzel will host this informal discussion.

Introduction I would like to discuss with you at which aspects technology (mainly energy production and storage such as solar cells, batteries, water splitting etc.) might be enabled by biotechnology in the future. As a teaser I will briefly introduce and motivate Bioelectrosynthesis and Biotemplating. I will then outline a vision of how we might gain appropriate biological parts for this technologies, with some examples from the synthetic biology entrepreneurship conference I attended in London last week.
