If you have a question about this talk, please contact David MacKay.

I have spent this year working with a composer who runs music workshops for disabled people. He asked me to design an electronic musical instrument which would provide decision-making freedom to those with physical disabilities.

This talk will summarise my research into computer controllers for the disabled, musical performance and electronic music. I will outline the challenges of the design brief and describe and demonstrate the prototype instruments I developed.

This talk is part of the Inference Group series.
