Engineering Graduate Employability: an international comparison study

Tom Ridgman is going to share his paper and related research work in the engineering graduate education area. He and his colleagues compared the views of Chinese and UK employers on the attributes of their new recruits to the graduate engineering position. The findings are very interesting.

Tom works for ISMM , and is the Director of External Education in IfM (http://www.ifm.eng.cam.ac.uk/people/twr20/). He also leads the Manufacturing Industry Education Research Group (MIERG) to look at educational issues related to manufacturing industry (http://www.ifm.eng.cam.ac.uk/research/mierg/).
