If you have a question about this talk, please contact Caroline Newnham. This talk has been canceled/deleted Despite great advances in sequencing technologies, our knowledge in population structure, phylogeny and adaptation of great apes is still very limited. Our group is working to provide a better understanding on SNP and CNV great ape diversity and demography using a novel dataset of full genome sequencing. On top of that, we will discuss differential CpG methylation patterns between humans and great apes to discuss the relationship between DNA methylation changes and sequence evolution at both nucleotide and protein level.
