As the ecological crisis deepens has the time come to put an economic value on ecosystems or will this weaken conservation by commodifying nature? With a specific focus on developing countries this seminar will look at an under-researched question which is: who should value nature in the first place?

Dario launched whygreeneconomy.org in 2013 as a space to share ideas on the policies that should be adopted to address the global environmental crisis. He has extensive experience of working on the environment and international development, including lobbying at UN climate change conferences and Rio+20.
