“Assuring Food Security to 2050, including Implications for Minimising Climate Change and Biodiversity Loss" Seminar

The Tropical Agriculture Association (TAA) and the Humanitarian Centre, in collaboration with CambPlant, Cambridge Conservation Forum (CCF) and the University’s Global Food Security strategic Initiative (GFS) are delighted to invite you to our Seminar on Global Food Security to 2050. The theme of assuring food security to 2050, includes implications for climate change and biodiversity loss.

Two presentations will be made:

(a) Managing the demand side: Dr Bojana Bazjelj (Cambridge University Engineering Dept), and

(b) Managing the supply side: Prof Amir Kassam (TAA member, University of Reading & UN Food & Agriculture Organisation – FAO ) and Dr Gottleib Basch (University of Evora, Portugal).

We suggest a donation of £5.00 upon entry to cover tea/coffee/snacks, with balance to be given to the TAA ’s Tropical Agriculture Award Fund.
