Frustration meets topology: from C>1 fractional Chern insulators to tilted Weyl semimetals

In this talk I will discuss how geometrical frustration, naturally present in a wide range of materials, provides insights into the theory of topological phases, including lattice generalisations of fractional quantum Hall states and Weyl semimetals.
