In recent work I have been looking at finding a decomposition into indecomposables of the tensor product of the induced and Weyl modules for the algebraic group SL2 . In certain cases this is known, but the general case is not. During the talk I will describe a method which has so far given me some success in characteristic 2. The method relies on Vermas conjecture, and finding the structure of the endomorphism algebra of the module I’m interested in.
