Hook-up probabilities for conformal loop ensembles

I will try to explain that, for some appropriately defined conformal loop ensembles CLE in a square with two wired opposite sides, it is possible to derive the probability that these two sides hook up into one single loop. This provides an “SLE-only” approach to the conjectural relation between the value of k and that of q or N in the corresponding FK(q) or O(N) models.
