DESCRIPTION:We study cosmological solutions in the effective h
eterotic string theory with lpha'-correction term
s in string frame. It is pointed out that the effe
ctive theory has an ambiguity via field redefiniti
on and we analyze generalized effective theories d
ue to this ambiguity. We restrict our analysis to
the effective theories which give equations of mot
ion of second order in the derivatives\, just as `
`Galileon" field theory. This class of effective a
ctions contains two free coupling constants. We fi
nd de Sitter solutions as well as the power-law ex
panding universes in our four-dimensional Einstein
frame. The accelerated expanding universes are al
ways the attractors in the present dynamical syste
m. \n
