DESCRIPTION:The field of anomalous diffusion can be very polar
ising\, with some saying that there is little basi
s for such studies in biology to those saying most
of spatial crowding effects lead to these ideas.&
nbsp\; This presentation \;will be mainly ext
empore and off the top of my head but I will try t
o put some of these ideas in context\, warts and a
ll. \; I will then branch off into such esoter
ic fields as fractional differential equations\, f
ractional stochastic differential equations\, Pois
son tau leap with memory\, fractional Poisson proc
esses\, Mittag Leffler waiting times and finish wi
th a new Poisson tau leap method for anomalous dif
fusive effects. This will be very much seat of the
pants and I hope there is lots of discussion.
