The Winton Programme on the Public Understanding of Risk, or Understanding Uncertainty as we call it, was initiated within the Statistical Laboratory in October 2007. The aim is to provide a useful and engaging resource discussing probability and risk in society, through qualitative and quantitative insights. Our website is understandinguncertainty.org
