Engineers Without Borders- Cambridge: Talks
The Cambridge branch of EWB will be running three different series of talks throughout Lent 2010.
- Professional speakers
- Lunchtime lectures
- TED talks @ The Cafe Project
Each week we will welcome an evening speaker from a different area of the development sector – ranging from water and sanitation to sustainable architecture. The aim is to inspire students interested in international development and the talks are by no means restricted to engineers!
We will also have a series of lectures on weekday lunchtimes from students who are involved in research projects through EWB or have volunteered on overseas placements. These aim to demonstrate some of the ways students can get more involved with EWB and gain international development experience while at Cambridge.
Finally we will be joining the Cafe Project once a fortnight for a relaxed atmosphere to screen TED talks relevant to international development.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
