Under the umbrella of the Cavendish Research Staff Committe, we are researchers that are also interested in discussing the ethical implications that new technologies bring to society. The discussions that occur during our events will produce thought-provoking questions targeted to promote a self-awareness of how scientists’ novel devices/software will affect society as a whole. Therefore, it is directly to related to many fields of research.

We want to specifically ask the attendees: What moral questions should we be asking ourselves, as scientists, when undertaking our research?
