Clare Short MP will be coming to speak at the Murray Edwards Politics Society on Wednesday 26th November. Her talk is titled “Israel and the Two-State Solution”. Clare Short is currently the Independent MP for Birmingham Ladywood. She was Secretary of State for International Development in the UK Labour government from 3 May 1997 until her high-profile resignation on 12 May 2003 due to her opposition to the Iraq war. She will be talking to us about her opinions on Israel and the idea of a two-state solution.
