This seminar will investigate how the principle of equal treatment has fared in the context of the development of legal rules on the application and enforcement of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. Has this relatively new body of EU constitutional law resulted in more extensive and rigorous protection of the principle of equal treatment, or rather something else?
