Abstract
There are directions to supply power for data centres from renewable energy sources like (wind, solar, geothermal…). I explore in this talk specific examples about wind power in UK and how wind intermittency might be solved. Moreover, I describe alternative solutions by using computing to solve the same problem. I will conclude with some trends and research directions.
Series This talk is part of the Computer Laboratory Systems Research Group Seminar series.
