Abstract
At this term’s first Journal Club, we will discuss Semantic Hashing by Ruslan Salakhutdinov and Geoffrey Hinton and, using this as a starting point, heuristics for architecture design of deep belief nets.
We will also spend some time on Deep Narrow Sigmoid Belief Networks are Universal Approximators by Sutskever and Hinton.
