Abstract
A Journal Club-style talk reviewing the seminal contributions of Lieb, Levy, Englisch, and Englisch to the mathematical foundations of density functional theory.
The talk will cover the properties that define a valid density functional, and detail the journey from the Hohenberg-Kohn functional to the Lieb functional.
Series This talk is part of the Electronic Structure Discussion Group series.
