At Argos we are transforming the world of retail, using technology to give us a competitive advantage – helping our customers have great experiences whilst giving our colleagues the tools to drive our business.

The Argos national store network, with 800+ stores is considered a significant strategic advantage for our digital future as customers increasingly seek local product collection and appreciate the face-to-face customer service.

Central to Argos’ plans is the ability to leverage systems and build technology effectively. Our priority is to hire highly skilled and talented software engineers who will own and develop products. The next evolution of retail is to provide bespoke experiences in such areas as search, recommendations, and offers. In each of these areas the work will entail the build out of teams and capabilities that can engineer real time algorithms, machine learning models and platforms, enabling these systems to work together to provide a uniquely Argos branded customer experience that increases customer engagement and conversion.

Come and hear about our plans and why Argos Technology is a fantastic place for a career in Software Engineering.
