Machine learning (ML) is a hot topic in all scientific fields. The wealth of data and computing power we now have access to due to improving technologies gives us new opportunities to design intelligent algorithms for predicting instances of disease.

• Dr Nicole Wheeler and Dr Joshua Kaggie will discuss this use of ML in medicine and the development of new ML models.
