In this talk we introduce the class of (e,d)-log canonical singularities. We give some examples and prove some properties of (e,d)-lc singularities: Finitenes of mld’s, bounds of Cartier indices, and boundedness up to deformation.

This talk is part of the Algebraic Geometry Seminar series.
