Abstract
Periodic orbits are known to be very important in describing chaotic attractors and the hope has been that they may also help our understanding of fluid turbulence. I’ll discuss work trying to find periodic orbits buried in turbulent flows which, most recently, has utilised Dynamic Mode Decomposition/Koopman analysis.
