We briefly review previous fits of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) to the Higgs and EW sectors at the LHC . We will then return to the calculations of the total and partial inclusive Higgs widths at leading order in the SMEFT which are crucial to these fits. We discuss the approximations made previously and our new work on removing these approximations in the full (tree level) calculation of the Higgs width in the SMEFT . We report results incorporating all SMEFT corrections for two and four body Higgs decays in this limit. The narrow width approximation is avoided and all phase space integrals are directly evaluated.
