Abstract
Particle methods for fluid flow have the advantages that free surfaces and interfaces can be handled easily. In this talk I will discuss how the particle method SPH can be applied to flows of a highly viscous fluid such as lava and the flow of dusty fluid with very high dust – fluid drag,a as in pyroclastic flows.
Series This talk is part of the Institute for Energy and Environmental Flows (IEEF) series.
