Note unusual day for seminar

I will discuss the Little Higgs mechanism of electroweak symmetry breaking and the Littlest Higgs with T-parity (LHT), a fully realistic implementation of this mechanism. I will describe the structure of the model, phenomenological constraints on its parameters, and its signatures at the Tevatron and the LHC . I will also present the results of a recent study of the capability of the LHC experiments to distinguish the LHT from supersymmetry, in a situation where no cascade decay chains are kinematically allowed.

This talk is part of the HEP phenomenology joint Cavendish-DAMTP seminar series.
