Abstract
ABB is a large company with more than 100000 employees world-wide, with two core businesses: Automation and Power. This talk will start by a broad overview of the R&D in ABB in general and in the global organization ABB Corporate Research in particular. Then the focus will be on the research in the area of Control & Optimization. Specific project examples will be given from the activities at the Swedish research center.
