I will describe the Hastings-Levitov framework for planar aggregation and present some new results on bulk scaling limits and fluctuation limits for certain models of Hastings-Levitov type. These models include regularized versions of the HL($\alpha$) family for $\alpha\le1$ and a continuum version of the Eden model.
