Abstract
For measuring gas-surface bound state resonances, spin-echo spectroscopy offers an energy resolution that is superior to coventional methods. The talk will describe what bound state resonances are, why they are useful in determining atom-surface potentials and what new information is offered by recent measurements for the Si(111)-(1×1)H surface.
Series This talk is part of the Physics and Chemistry of Solids Group series.
