Abstract: I present recent results for LHC cross sections computed to third order in the strong coupling constant. These first examples at this perturbative order allow us to study the impact of such high order corrections and demonstrate their need for ultimate LHC precision phenomenology. In particular, I will discuss the production cross section of a lepton pair – the so-called Drell-Yan cross section.
