The web is changing the way people both read and write, and self-publishing provides the ideal sandbox to develop your skills and style, and showcase your talent to the world. Science writer and blogger Frank Swain of SciencePunk.com illustrates how self publishing, both in print and on the web, can give you an edge when it comes to a career in media.
