Are you a Cambridge postdoc working on innovative research? Do you have a great business idea? Are you looking to start a company or join an entrepreneurial team? If ‘yes’, then the Chris Abell Postdoc Business Plan Competition is the ideal platform for you.

Whether it’s a social enterprise or ground-breaking new invention, whatever your academic expertise, we want to hear from you.

• Location:  Sanders Hall, The Postdoc Centre, Eddington

• Time: 18:00 to 20:00
• Refreshments: Pizza and drinks provided (please include any dietary requirements)

The event will include:

• A walk-through of the application process with advice and guidance on what judges shall be looking for in your submission.
• Feedback from previous winners and competition entrants, with their take on what the competition was like and how it helped them progress with their entrepreneurial endeavours.
• Q&A: representatives from Cambridge Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Postdocs of Cambridge (EPOC) will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
