Kato's congruences for Katz p-adic L-functions

I will talk about work in progress with T. Bouganis about certain congruences between Katz p-adic L-functions. These congruences come from non-commutative Iwasawa theory for CM fields. We will see a proof of these congruences under certain hypothesis and then I will indicate obstructions for proving the congruences in general.
