HY2W02 - Analysis of dispersive systems

We discuss some recent application of the nonlinear steepest decent method for oscillatory Riemann-Hilbert problems to therigorous analysis of KdV shock waves. The talk is based on joint work with Iryna Egorova (ILT Kharkiv) and Mateusz Piorkowski (KU Leuven).
