Arun Thirunavukarasu – Corpus Christi College For his elective, Arun undertook a research internship at Singapore Eye Research Institute, working primarily on automated machine learning. He also participated in cell therapy work on novel electron-beam sterilised corneal lenticules.

Rhiannon Osborne – St Catharines College A presentation exploring refugee health at Europe’s borders and in the UK, and the role of health professionals in the context of state violence

Emmanuel Mensah – Hughes Hall Spending time in Lusaka (a University Teaching Hospital) working with a neurosurgeon and also visiting outreach Clinics Emmanuel explored how Zambia are ‘Doing more with “way way” less’.

Pippa Sayers – Queens College During their elective working in public health and neurology in Senegal, West Africa, Pippa spent time in a community based menstrual health project, a hospital-based neurology service and a Village Health Clinic.
